Ed Levin Gold Over Earrings

Ed Levin's Gold Over Silver laminate was first fabricated at Ed's request over 35 years ago. A 14k gold sheet is bonded to a sterling silver sheet and is more than 25% 14k gold by weight.

Gold Over Silver is far superior to vermeil or gold-filled. It is an affordable alternative to 14kt Gold. Vermeil is a thin gold electroplate using very virtually no gold. Gold-filled is a process by which a layer of at least 10k gold has been mechanically bonded to a base metal.
