"Two Dolphins" Ancient Fossilized Mammoth Tusk Ivory and Blue Topaz Silver Pin or Pendant

This playful ancient ivory and blue topaz dolphin pin can also be worn as a pendant, taking its inspiration from the waves and from the delightful dolphins’ leaping silhouettes.

Blue topaz accents this dolphin themed pin for its aquatic color. It is an ideal accent to this dolphin pendant’s gleaming silver and earthen hues.

The mother and young dolphin are hand carved from fossilized mammoth ivory, which is some 10,000 to over 15,000 years old. Mammoth ivory has lived out most of its long life buried in permafrost or in the earth where minerals stain it a variety of pale cream to deep caramel tones. Mammoth ivory takes us back through the mists of time to when these wondrous animals still roamed the earth. It gives our silver dolphin pendant/pin a touch of antiquity, as well as the rich quality of fossilized ivory.

  • Artisan carved ancient mammoth ivory dolphins
  • Faceted blue topaz ocean accents
  • Detailed sterling silver setting
  • Pin and pendant back—wear it both ways!

This pin/pendant is sold without a chain.

    This pin/pendant measures 1 9/16" wide x 1 1/2" tall (approx).

Mammoth Ivory and Blue Topaz Silver Dolphin Pendant and Pin

The dolphin is one our most iconic, totemic animals with her smiling disposition and keen intelligence. Our dolphin pin can also be worn as a silver dolphin pendant, making this treasured piece as versatile as it is lovely. Here a mother and baby dolphin leap through the waves, rendered in sterling silver with spiral details, together in joyous companionship.

Our designers selected blue topaz to accent this dolphin themed pin for its aquatic color. Blue topaz was also chosen as it is the stone of protection against negativity and disharmony. Like the dolphin, this calming stone also helps us draw on our innate creative inspiration and powers of communication. It is an ideal accent to this dolphin pendant’s gleaming silver and earthen hues.
