"Bee" Ancient Fossilized Walrus Tusk Ivory and Peridot Sterling Pendant

The bee symbolized the soul to the ancient Egyptians, and has always been associated with fertility, diligence and community. This "bee" sterling silver pendant features a bezel set faceted peridot atop a bee with a beautifully designed body of fossilized walrus tusk and wings of sterling silver accented with 14kt gold fill. The pendant measures approximately 7/8" wide and 7/8" tall. Add a sterling silver snake chain to your pendant or contact us for other chain options. The chain is rhodium plated to slow tarnishing.

Prehistoric fossilized walrus tusk is around 500 to 3,000 years old. It is excavated along the Bering sea coast of Alaska by Eskimo families. The unique colors of this ancient ivory are created by minerals from Lookbook the soil. This material is legal to carve and own.

This pendant comes with an 18" sterling silver 1.1 mm box chain with a lobster clasp.
