These fossilized carved ivory earrings evoke the movement and hue of the natural world with their graceful cascade silhouette and earthen coloring. Designed as a classic pair you can wear with virtually anything, these earrings work equally well for daytime wear as they do for an evening out on the town.
The hand carved beaded accents are made from fossilized walrus ivory and/or mammoth ivory. Both of these ancient materials have been buried for most of their long lives where the earth colors the ivory a range of colors from soft caramel and cream to a deeper cocoa shade. The fossilized ivory coloring in your pair of carved ivory earrings may vary somewhat from the colors pictured here.
The earrings are assembled by hand using fine sterling silver chain and accents. The use of silver offers a gleaming counterpoint to the fossilized ivory's opaque and earthen quality.
These earrings measure 5/8" wide x 2 1/2" long (approx).
