Green sea glass mostly comes from glass bottles. The bottling of beer has been in practice since as early as the 16th century. Dark green shades are usually identified as wine bottles.
Each piece is imbued with a bit of history, a splash of color and the spirit of the sea. The shape and surface of the sea glass is created by the powerful force and rich salinity of the sea. It's just as it was found -- shaped by the ocean waves.
Sea glass is collected by members of The National Sea Glass Association, an organization that governs and protects the integrity of natural sea glass.
