"Dragonfly" Ancient Fossilized Walrus Tusk Ivory, Blue Topaz and Paua Silver Pendant

The dragonfly is a symbol of joy & light which is captured artfully in this dragonfly pendant. The segmented body of the dragonfly is made from fossilized walrus and paua shell bezel set in sterling silver. It's sterling silver wings are accented by 14kt gold fill. A bezel set blue topaz completes the piece.

This pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. 

This pendant comes on an 18" sterling silver 1.1 mm box chain with a lobster clasp.

Prehistoric fossilized walrus tusk is around 500 to 3,000 years old. It is excavated along the Bering sea coast of Alaska by Eskimo families. The unique colors of this ancient ivory are created by minerals from the soil. This material is legal to carve and own.
