"Puffin" Ancient Fossilized Mammoth Ivory Tusk and Blue Topaz Silver Pendant

This playful pendant features a puffin carved from ancient mammoth ivory with a colorful beak framed in 14kt gold fill. The pendant is topped with a pear shaped blue topaz set in a sterling silver bezel. The waves and artful curves of the pendant are sterling silver.

The pendant measures approximately 7/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall. 

This pendant is sold with an 18" sterling silver 1.1 mm box chain with a lobster clasp.

This design incorporates ancient mammoth tusk. Plentiful until their extinction about 15,000 years ago. Our mammoth ivory is usually found by gold miners in Alaska and Canada. The unique colors of this ancient ivory are created by minerals from the soil. This material is legal to carve and own.
