Charoite is a rare find and comes from only one place on earth, the Murun complex in the Sakha Republic, Siberia. Charoite derives its name from the place where It was originally discovered in 1940 - the Chary River in Yakutia.
Charoite is translucent lavender to purple in color with a pearly luster. This necklace features 8mm charoite round polished beads. The necklace is professionally knotted between each bead and is finished with a fancy sterling silver clasp. The necklace is approximately 20" in length.
