The top stone is a square faceted rainbow moonstone, attached to embellished sterling silver that holds a piece of ancient mammoth ivory. The mammoth ivory was buried in the ground for over 15,000 years. Long after the mammoths went extinct, this prized material was excavated to be carved into heirloom jewelry.
