Cook Island Pearls

Cook Island Pearls

Our favorite pearls are those cultured and harvested in the Cook Islands, deep in the South Pacific. They come in colors ranging from   green to almost black and are normally larger than the white classic pearls.  They are produced by the black-lipped oyster, Pinctada margaritifera , which thrives in the unpolluted lagoons of Manihiki and Penrhyn in the Cooks.
